Introduction

“Dancing with the Stars” is a popular dance competition TV series which is the American version of the British series Strictly Come Dancing. In the show, pairs of celebrities with professional dancers compete against each other for judges’ points and audience votes. The couple (A celebrity with a professional dancer) receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ points and audience’s votes is usually eliminated each week until only the champion dance pair remains.

The first season of “Dancing with the Stars” aired on ABC Platform on June 1, 2005, and ended on July 6, 2005. The winners of its first season were Kelly Monaco & Alec Mazo.

About “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32

For the first time, DWTS aired on both ABC and Disney+ platforms simultaneously in present Season 32 which premiered on September 26, 2023, and ended on December 5, 2023. The first elimination (Matt Walsh and Koko Iwasak) was made on September 26, 2023, the day of Premier.

Actor-comedian Alfonso Ribeiro and former professional dancer and judge Julianne Hough joined the season as host and co-host respectively. Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli continued as judges for the season, with Hough being promoted to head judge, following the retirement and death of head judge Len Goodman.

Winners of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 32

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 32, finally found its 32^nd Champion on December 5, 2023. Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy have been announced as the winners of the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy in a fierce battle of DWTS Season 32.

Before announcing the winners, all five finalists performed two dances namely a redemption dance and a freestyle dance which lasted around three hours. finally, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy were crowned as the winners of DWTS Season 32 and took home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy.
